Mike Williams was an amazing player. He started his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010 when they picked him in the fourth round of the draft. Right from the start, he did great, catching 65 passes for almost 1,000 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns in his first year.
He stayed with the Buccaneers for four seasons and played in 54 games, starting 52 of them. In 2014, he got traded to the Buffalo Bills, which was special for him because he was from there. But he only played for the Bills for one season, appearing in nine games, catching eight passes for 142 yards, and scoring one touchdown.
Even though he played for different teams, Mike Williams left his mark in the NFL. In his career, he caught a total of 223 passes, gained 3,089 yards, and scored 26 touchdowns in 63 games.
Sadly, Mike Williams passed away, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team where he began his NFL journey, expressed their sadness. The team has sent their condolences to his family and friends during this very tough time. Mike Williams will always be remembered for his contributions to football and how he made a difference both on and off the field.
