Internet’s favorite beer-chugging beauty, Megan Lucky, took her talents to the NFL stage during the Jets vs. Bills game at MetLife Stadium.
Known for her beer-chugging prowess, it looks like Lucky has transitioned from the tennis court to the gridiron.
Megan Lucky became an online sensation over the past couple of years, thanks to her beer-chugging skills that originally took the world by storm during the 2021 and 2022 U.S. Open tennis tournaments.
Her initial claim to fame occurred in 2021 when Lucky effortlessly guzzled down a Heineken on the Jumbotron at the usually reserved tennis spectacle.
She made a promise to return to the U.S. Open in Queens on September 1, but this time around, she couldn’t replicate her earlier viral success on the video board.
However, Lucky didn’t disappoint her dedicated followers.
Posting thrilling footage from the NFL game on her social media channels, she playfully teased:
“You guys really didn’t think I’d leave you hanging this year, did you? PS. The beers are bigger here, OK?”
In the video that quickly circulated the internet, Megan was spotted engaging in a beer-chugging showdown with a New York Jets fan amid the crowd.
But not everyone in the online world shared her enthusiasm for this unexpected NFL cameo.
Critics took to Megan Lucky’s comment section to express their disappointment, with one fan saying, “Only in America where chugging beers can be seen as a heroic act.”
Another skeptic chimed in, “If it’s not the US Open, it doesn’t count.”
Another fan noted, “Not the same feel, let it go,” suggesting that Lucky’s NFL appearance didn’t quite capture the magic of her previous viral moments.
Some even speculated on her motivation, with one commenter humorously remarking, “Wasn’t able to get clout at the open… so she chooses A-Rod night.”
One follower commented how NFL fans in the crowd looked disinterested.
“Wow …. look how “unexcited” the fans are for this!”
Another fan commented about her absence from the US Open. Responding to that fan, an IG user justified Lucky’s NFL show-up.
In a recent interview with the New York Post, Megan Lucky revealed that she’s partnered with several alcohol brands, including the popular beverage line, Truly.
However, for Lucky, this is just the beginning. She’s not content with resting on her laurels. Instead, she has her sights set on expanding her personal brand to new heights.
