“Santa’s got to deliver the gifts; he ain’t got time to enjoy his cookies” Deion Sanders on coaching schedule

The Colorado Boulders head coach Deion Sanders is off to a flying start, with his charges winning their opening two College Football games, including big wins over Tennessee and Nebraska.

The Boulders are now ranked 18 and face their old rivals Colorado State in week 3. But Sanders does not have time to enjoy the victories, as he claims he is too busy building the blocks to one of the most exciting Boulders seasons in decades.

“Santa"s got to deliver the gifts, he ain"t got no time to enjoy his cookies," said coach Prime, considered to be one of the greatest running backs of all-time cornerbacks in history.

Sanders was talking to Sports Centre on whether he has the time to enjoy the winning start to the season.

Prime Time is a former two-time Superbowl champion, NFL Defensive Player of the Year (1994), with six First-Team All-Pro appearances. He has 3,532 kick-off return yards, 1,331 interception yards and 512 total tackles.

The former Falcons, 49ers, Cowboys, Redskins and Ravens CB was also the only player in history to win a Superbowl and a be in the baseball World Series. He played MLB for nine seasons turning out for the Yankees, Braves, Reds and Giants.

He is also coaching his highly touted son Shedeur, who is the starting quarterback for the Boulders, and the Junior is carving a name of his own. He attended Jackson State High School where he was named a four-star recruit.

He [Shedeur] has been in inspirational form for the Colorado team this season.

Colorado State HC Jay Norvell has already started the mind games.

He told listeners to his weekly show, “I don"t care if they hear it in Boulder. I told them, I took my hat off and I took my glasses of. I said when I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and sunglasses off."

This is in direct reference to Sanders, who is well known to wear a hat and glasses in interviews. Norvell may be trying to make a fist out of the game, and this is another reason Sanders does not have time to rest on his laurels.

The Boulders are favorites, but that does not mean Coach Prime"s opponents are going to let the legend get too smug.
