Las Vegas, Raiders Defensive end Maxx Robert Crosby opens up on his inspirational struggle to overcome the addiction to drugs and alcohol.
Crosby has been known as one of the league’s most promising defenders, but now he will also be an inspiration by all the Raiders fans.
In an interview with the Sports Illustrated on Thursday, he expressed the difficult journey and the future for him in the league as the most potent defender.
The Raider’s star player opened up on the biggest struggle in his professional American football career, and it was to come out from the addiction
He said in an interview with Sports Illustrated, he announced,
“I’ve been sober for over three years now,”
He also added,

“My tattoo means a lot. I also have got my daughter on my chest,”
He also replied on his new tattoo
“I’m a very visual and graphic person who likes to work on it on a daily basis. I just don’t talk about it often, I chase relentlessly,”
On other occasions, Crosby has been transparent about his alcoholism and addiction, which he felt was the biggest obstacle to his career.
He was admitted into a rehabilitation center in the spring of 2020 even though he managed to secure the Pro Bowl in the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Crosby also shared his epiphany of fighting the addiction not alone and how it helped him to choose a life of sobriety.
He told in the interview he was not fighting the addiction alone,
“The biggest realization for me is that you’re not the only one, I got over myself and just realized I’m not the only person on Earth going through this, There’s people going through far worse.”
