The Orlando Magic is taking a trip down memory lane for their 35th season, and basketball fans are in for a treat with their new “Classic Edition” uniform unveiled recently for the 2023-24 season.
Across the chest, you’ll find the word “Magic” arched in white, with black trim adding a sleek touch. But that’s not all – there’s a star cleverly incorporated as a dot over the letter ‘i,’ and another star replaces the ‘a’ in “Magic,” giving the jersey a unique and stylish flair.
The new uniforms are all about a deep blue color with some subtle darker blue and white stars as well as lines, giving us that classic ’90s Orlando Magic look. For those who followed the Magic in the late ’90s and early 2000s, this uniform design will feel like a blast from the past. It’s a direct homage to the jerseys the team wore on the road from 1998-99 until the 2002-03 season. During that five-season stretch, the Magic made their presence known in the NBA Playoffs four times, although they couldn’t quite advance past the first round.
