In a candid and revealing interview on the Club Shay Shay podcast hosted by Shannon Sharpe, multi-talented artist Chris Brown delved into the saga surrounding New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson and his alleged involvement with adult film star Moriah Mills.
The drama began back in June 2023 when Zion Williamson and his girlfriend, Ahkeema, joyfully announced that they were expecting a baby daughter in November.
However, the celebratory mood took a sharp turn when Moriah Mills, an adult film star, took to Twitter to claim that she had recently engaged in a sexual relationship with the NBA superstar.
Ahkeema, Zion’s GF, seemingly addressing the torrent of tweets from Mills, posted a cryptic message on Twitter, stating, “Happy hoes ain’t hating, and hating hoes ain’t happy.”

Amidst this ongoing controversy, a third woman, digital creator Yami Taylor, emerged to speak out about her alleged involvement with Williamson, adding a bitter tone to the drama.
“I never gave u a 3 some or never had a OnlyFans or was on Pornhub so I guess I was all play I probably never had a chance u nasty ass sex addict,” said Yami Taylor as per Daily Mail.
In July, Moriah Mills escalated the situation by accusing Williamson of being a woman-beater and alleging that he had offered her hush money to keep her silence.
Mills stated:
“You guys, I literally did not want to come to the internet and I’m just tired of saving face for this man that’s completely disrespecting me to the world,” Mills said. “And I literally have to take this – every time I come on the internet, people are bashing me because of this man. Literally. And I’m tired of it.
She continued:
“He knows… He said he’d send me $62,000, I’ve yet to receive that since June. I’m literally here, like, he’s literally a liar. You guys, everything he says, he’s a liar. He’s not who he says he is. I literally been saving face. I did not want to come to the world and let you know what he has been doing to me my entire relationship with him.
“He is a woman beater and the NBA needs to know this. I literally did not want to come to this because I know he has so many endorsements. But Zion Williamson is a woman beater. And the reason he was paying me off was so that I wouldn’t come to the world and tell everybody.”
Now, on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Chris Brown, who himself has navigated the challenges of fame and public scrutiny, was asked by host Shannon Sharpe for his perspective on how Zion Williamson should handle the situation.
Brown empathized with the young NBA star’s predicament and offered some advice.
Brown shared:
“It’s hard out here. I would just pray for Zion, man. Just pray and be the best man you could be at that point. I’m blessed to have three children, three different baby moms. But at the same time, the relationship that I built with them and the energy that I kind of come with is a little bit more I don’t know, I’m an R&B guy. I’m a little bit more subtle with it. It’s very hard.”
He continued:
“But you got to also watch out. To this day, I still want to see some beautiful women, but at the same time, you just got to be mindful of the certain company you will keep or the traps that will deceit themselves as athletes. On our end, it’s a little bit different. But I understand what he’s going through, so he just got to hold his head together, man. Hold your head, big man.”
Sharpe acknowledged the unique challenges posed by social media in today’s world, to which Brown agreed, referring to it as “a different animal.”
Williamson was the top selection in the 2019 NBA Draft. He inked a rookie maximum contract worth $193 million over five years with New Orleans Pelicans, with the potential to increase to $231 million in July 2022.
