WATCH: Dirty hit by Colorado State that knocked Travis Hunter out of game

The game between Colorado Buffaloes and Colorado State Rams took an ugly turn with an injury.

One of the best wide receivers of the Colorado Buffaloes Travis Hunter was injured in the game which was eventually won by the Buffaloes by 43-35.

Hunter took a dirty late hit from Colorado State defender Henry Blackburn after being impeded on a go-route down the sideline.

After sustaining the painful hit, Hunter went down immediately and took off his helmet. He was seen grabbing his left side which took the grimy hit.

Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for the Buffaloes, confronted Blackburn after the unsportsmanlike hit in an effort to defend his top receiving target.

Blackburn was given a personal foul. The penalty was given to the Buffaloes who moved the ball up the field as soon as possible, and then Sanders delivered a touchdown pass.

According to ESPN, when Deion Sanders was asked about the update on Travis Hunter’s injury he said, “First thing I heard that he would be an out a few weeks,”

“I heard that for sure, but we’re gonna do what we gotta do to take care of him.”

This injury instigated many reactions from the fans and of the NBA superstar James LeBron as well. He took to platform X and expressed himself.

After the wide receiver Hunter is evaluated, more information regarding his health status should become available.
