“We’re kicking their butts right now” South Carolina Coach Beamer’s words back-fire, after Georgia shutout the Gamecocks in the second half

The game between Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks took an incredible shift where the Bulldogs defeated the Gamecocks with a score of 24-14.

However, the most notable aspect of the game was given by the South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer who in an interview with CBS Jenny Dell said, “We’re kicking their butts right now, we just need to keep on going,”.

His spirited comments came after the halftime when the Gamecocks were leading it with 14-3.

The Gamecocks were definitely dominating the game, and their head coach while capturing the spirit of the team made the comments but unfortunately, the team remarkably failed to win.

The Gamecocks were against one of the top-ranking teams and their coach Shane Beamer as per Yahoo Sports, regarding the game further said, “We also knew that we were going to be a team that got better as the game goes on because they were going to respond and answer,”

He also said, “I look around, and I still think we’re a better team than we were two weeks ago,”

“And again, we’re not patting ourselves on the back … but also, know we’ve made strides as a team and are going to continue.”

The South Carolina Gamecocks are 1-2 in this season. They lost their season-opener to the North Carolina Tar Heels. Gamecocks defeated  FCS Furman Paladins last week with a score of 47-21.

However, they played fantastically against the Georgia Bulldogs, but sadly could not uphold the same strength for the second half of the game.
