The Green Bay Packers face a significant challenge in their quest to secure a 2- 0 record against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

With the announcement of the inactive players prior to kickoff, the Packers are expected to be without their talented running back Aaron Jones, and wide receiver Christian Watson.

Both players are still recovering from hamstring injuries.

Aaron Jones, a talented seven-year veteran, has been a crucial component of the Packers’ offense.

In their Week 1 victory over the Chicago Bears, Jones showcased his skills by contributing 127 yards from scrimmage and scoring two touchdowns on just 11 touches.

Unfortunately, he sustained a hamstring injury during one of the scoring plays, forcing him to miss all practice sessions during the week.

Christian Watson, a second-year player, had an impressive rookie season, amassing 41 catches for 611 yards and seven touchdowns.

However, he also finds himself on the injury list with a hamstring issue, which will force him to sit out for the second consecutive game.

Watson returned to practice as a limited participant on Friday, but it seems he wasn’t able to fully recover in time for the upcoming game.

To compensate for the loss of Jones and Watson, the Packers have made necessary roster changes.

Running back Patrick Taylor has been promoted from the practice squad and is expected to step in and contribute in Jones’ absence.
