“I mean I only got four touches” – Jets RB Breece Hall reportedly fuming at sparse usage, shares cryptic message in protest

After the challenging 30-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, The New York Jets are still reeling and dealing with the outcomes.

Running back Breece Hall expressed his frustration about his limited role in the game through a tweet featuring four football emojis, symbolizing his mere four carries during the match.

Cornerback Sauce Gardner went a step further and deleted his X account (formerly known as Twitter) post-game. Breece Hall also tweeted, then promptly deleted a post that seemed to allude to his lack of involvement in the loss.

Hall, who is still recovering from a torn ACL, only had four rushing attempts for nine yards as the Jets abandoned the running game early. Speaking to reporters after the game, he voiced his discontent, saying, “I mean, I only got four touches. That’s why we struggled. It is what it is. We just got down early today and just abandoned the run. That type of stuff happens. You feel like you have to get back in the game and it just slips away.”

On the other hand, Hall had a remarkable 127 rushing yards on just 10 carries during New York’s win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Unfortunately, the Jets faced a setback when their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending torn Achilles tendon during that game. The result of which had a direct effect on the positive momentum of the team, diminishing it.

Stepping in for Rodgers, Zach Wilson, had a tough time dealing with the Cowboys’ pass rush. By the end of the game, he did manage to throw for 170 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions, all of which happened in the fourth quarter.

The chances of their success will significantly increase if the Jets focus on improving their running game. Their upcoming challenge involves hosting the New England Patriots, who are also a strong and formidable opponent.
