The New England Patriots have been facing downturn results in this NFL season.

They started their season opener with a loss against the Philadelphia Eagles with a score line 20-25.

Their season score has been 0-2 which had earlier happened in the 2001 season.

In Week 2, the squad of New England Patriots found themselves down again when they lost to the Miami Dolphins with a score of 17-24.

In Bill Belichick"s previous 23 seasons as head coach of the Patriots, the team never had to contend with double-digit deficits in the opening two games of a season. As per ESPN Stats and Info.

The New England Patriots had a remarkable run from 2001 to 2019. They had established their dominance as one of the top football teams.

According to ESPN, Matthew Judon, the outside linebacker of the Patriots regarding the loss said, "I know it looks bad when you start [0-2], but this is not a bad team, so don"t get to asking those type of questions,"

“I don"t think we"re about to hang our heads in that locker room."

He further said, "When we come back [this week], it"s not going to be, ‘How are you all going to pull it together?" We already know how. We have to play how we played in the second half — from the first play,"

“When we take the field, we have to have some type of energy, some type of juice. We can"t wait until we"re down 17, or 13, to make a comeback. It"s too hard in this league. People are too good, schemes are too good."
