Sheila Simmons, the sister of the victim, expressed her anguish in an interview with WGN-TV, revealing that she had last spoken to her sister on Thursday.

Amid this harrowing ordeal, Sergio Brown’s brother, Nick Brown has issued a heartfelt plea for his sibling’s safe return.

In a Facebook post, he conveyed his gratitude for the support and condolences they have received during this trying time. He shared fond memories of his mother, describing her as strong, caring, diligent, fancy, and funny, alluding to the strength she instilled in him.

The brother’s poignant message continued, expressing concern for Sergio Brown’s whereabouts, as the former NFL star has reportedly gone missing in the wake of their mother’s tragic death. He conveyed his love for Sergio and implored him to return home safely.

As authorities continue to investigate this grim incident, the Maywood Police Department is urging the public not to approach the property, emphasizing that it remains an active and ongoing investigation.

They are seeking any information regarding Sergio Brown’s whereabouts, urging those with pertinent details to promptly contact the Maywood Police Department.

Sergio Brown, an undrafted free agent in 2010, joined the New England Patriots.
