Bills Fan Tailgates Too Hard: Arrested for Heavy Drug Use and Suspicious Behavior

There is a major difference between having team spirit and going overboard with your fandom. Unfortunately, some people do not have a grasp of this basic concept and their fandom causes them to do crazy things. The Buffalo Bills fanbase is known for their devotion and loyalty to the Bills, but an unnamed 29-year-old man went too far on Sunday.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office reported that they arrested a 29-year-old male on Sunday at the Bills tailgate after the man fell into a 30-foot pit at the construction site where the new Bills Stadium will be. However, the story only gets stranger from here.

Reports indicate the unnamed man was covered in feces when authorities found him. Per the Buffalo News, the man smothered himself in “the contents of the toilet before exiting, stripping naked and jumping the 10-foot fence of the construction site.” Once clearing the fence, he ran and fell down the aforementioned 30-foot pit.

Once the Sheriff’s Office helicopter arrived at the scene shortly thereafter and once they got the man’s attention, he made an “obscene gesture” to the helicopter crew per Sheriff John Garcia. After roughly 20 minutes, authorities reached the man and took him to the hospital.

In the midst of the madness, the man told authorities that he was under the influence of LSD, marijuana, and cocaine.

While Bills fans are often known for their incredible pregame tailgates and dedication to the franchise, this fan took things a little too far, to say the least. He was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and his status in the hospital is an ongoing situation to monitor.
