Deion Sanders is making a sensational comeback as a pop culture legend with Prime Time on every fan"s lip, and on every TV executive to-do-list.
The Colorado Boulders head coach spent 14 successful years in the NFL, winning two Superbowl titles, as well as competing in nine seasons of the MLB, reaching the World Series and making him the only sportsman in history to achieve this double feat.
Pardon the Interruption hosts Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon are desperate to see Sanders make another appearance on the popular show.
"Deion’s [sanders] is on every single (show)," Kornheiser said. "If you want to interview Deion— if you’re a high school kid, he’ll talk to you. He was on 60 minutes last night. He’s everywhere."
He has a point, on the weekend Sanders appeared on First Take, Game Day, the Pat McAfee Show and 60 minutes.
Prime Coach is now making waves in Colorado as the Boulders team went 3-0 over the weekend with a big win over rivals Colorado State.
They are now ranked 19 in the country and face SCU, Oregon and Arizona in the next three weeks.
Sanders made his first appearance on the Pardon the Interruption Show back in 2003, his pre-coaching days, and it seems that 20 years later, he is a wanted man.
Most viewers watching football shows these days will not remember a prime Sanders the player, but as a coach he is riding the crest once again.
He"s back – it"s Prime Time.
