The Los Angeles Dodgers paid a heartwarming tribute to Detroit Tigers icon Miguel Cabrera, who is near to his farewell season

The Detroit Tigers star Miguel Cabrera was paid a Hollywood-style farewell prior to the Los Angeles Dodgers game on Monday.

The Dodgers gave a Hollywood star with Cabrera’s name and a check for his charity work as a tribute to the retiring Tigers star Cabrera.

Cabrera is in his 21 total seasons in the MLB, in which he spent the first five seasons of his career with the then-Florida Marlins. He was also able to receive the reputed World Series ring with the Marlins in his rookie year back in 2003.

Then traded Cabrera to the Tigers back in the year 2007, and he has been with the Tigers ever since, retiring at the end of the season.

Cabrera at the age of 40 has managed to earn 12 MLB All-Star Game selections and seven Silver Slugger awards in his 21-year career.

He has also won American League MVP awards two times in a row in 2012 and 2013 with the Tigers, and also won the prestigious Triple Crown in 2012.

The Tigers’ star Cabrera has announced on The Detroit News that he will retire at the end of the 2023 season in November 2022.

The tribute for his retirement on Monday showed gifting Cabrera an iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame star, an honor for who has left an iconic image on MLB.

In a more honorable way, The Dodgers made Miggy a Hollywood star for his retirement.
