On Monday, Jones issued an apology for a series of eyebrow-raising social media posts on X, in which he claimed to be providing shelter to the daughter of an “important man" due to her being a victim of sexual abuse. Jones later removed these posts, claiming that they were a result of a hacking incident.
Chandler Jones has been absent from the Raiders" facility and the team"s first two games of the season for undisclosed personal reasons. Meanwhile, Jones was seen making use of his social media accounts to raise allegations against individuals like head coach Josh McDaniels, owner Mark Davis, and general manager Dave Ziegler. He also expressed unconventional criticisms of the team.

In a series of encrypted messages on X, he shared:
“I wish I could play with my brothers, but marky mark is holding a huge secret that only I know! That’s why I was asking for my protection sorry if I sound scared because I’m not lol, when I found out I was lol"
“I wish mark Davis told the ppl why I really can’t play."
“I think I know why , but I want y’all to ask him," Jones tweeted next, “Only reason I’m here because the raiders still haven’t contacted me or a rep of mine."
“I care for you the person more than I care for you the player.. I’m here for you should you feel the need to talk.. Man to man.. With respect.."

Jones added, “[Davis] can’t cut me, I have proof of his reps saying I’m under contract, and they want me on the team.. but not playing right now. Lol."
Jones recently shared some shocking details on X (previously known as Twitter). He voiced his concern and alleged that his goddaughter had faced molestation, bringing attention to the complicated reasons behind his continued absence from the team.

“I’m single with no kids but me and this man had an agreement, mark didn’t know about, now he’s paying for it."
