Coach Prime recently had an interview with “60 Minutes” and as expected he came prepared and didn’t disappoint.
Jon Wertheim, the interviewer, asked Sanders,
“Now that you have been considered as the Power Five guy, who do you think is the best coach in college football right now?”
And as always, the answer by the head coach of Colorado Buffaloes was all Prime.
“Let me see, let me see a mirror, so I can look at him,”
Wertheim continued and asked.
“Do You feel that,”
Sanders replied,
“What, you think I’m just going to sit up here and tell you somebody else?”
“You, you think, you think that’s the way I operate? That somebody else got that on me?”
As the interview proceeded, Sander humbly expressed admiration for Nick Saban as he put into words his love and respect for Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
Sanders said
“But I tell you this, I truly love, adore, and respect every time I do a commercial with (Alabama) coach (Nick) Saban.”
“I’m just a student looking up to this wonderful teacher, “Just throw me a crumb of what you know.”
