PitchCom has its fair share of believers and naysayers and some fans do not like the wireless comms system at all.
One supporter can be heard on audio saying not too subtle words about the technology, as the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the San Francisco Giants 8-4 in a thrilling game.
There was a crackling tension in the air throughout the encounter as the Arizona team desperately pursued a playoff spot.
Outfielder Corbin Carroll was prolific in the encounter and his astute decision-making in a pressure-cooker environment tipped the scales for the Diamondbacks.
But for veteran broadcaster Mike Krukow, the moment of the night came when a fan was heard exasperatingly pleading with PitchCom, “…f****g go. Figure it out. F**k.”
Krukow said in a rather deadpanning manner, “Some fans is not too happy with the PitchCom.”
Fan: "Jesus (inaudible) fucking go. Figure it out. Fuck."

The viral video almost overshadowed the Arizona’s team’s thrilling win, with the Diamondbacks now second in the NL East, and hunting a playoff spot (80-72). They lead the Giants (76-75) so in context last night’s game was crucial.
PitchCom is meant to deter sign stealing and quicken play, but in this case, it slowed down momentum, at least in the opinion of one peeved fan.
