Veteran broadcaster Stephen A. Smith has been in the dogbox this week with a few dodgy on air calls this week, first telling popular MLB podcaster that “no one cares about baseball” before getting the Chicago Bears ’Offensive Coordinator’s name wrong.
He has already been called out for his questionable knowledge of baseball, and many social media users are taking the mickey out of Smith.
He was talking on the First Take panel and said, “And this offensive coordinator … Letsy, is that his name?”
At least Smith was sort of close, with Luke Getsy at least rhyming with ‘Letsy’.

He was quickly corrected by the panel, “Luke Getsy,” before Smith gets the name right.
Getsy is hardly a non-name brand, with the former NFL player a coach at the Packers since 2014, except for a year at Mississippi State in 2018.
He has been with the Bears for a year now.
