Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is keeping busy with his professional football career, but he recently made headlines for attending a virtual class at Clemson University from the Titans" facility. Ten years after dropping out of college to pursue a career in the NFL, a viral video has highlighted his commitment to finishing his education.

Hopkins, who is a five-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro receiver, has decided to go back to school at Clemson. He"s currently working towards a degree in parks, recreation, and tourism management. Even though he has a hectic football schedule, he is committed to managing his NFL career and continuing his education by taking online classes.

While Hopkins primarily engages in online learning, lucky Clemson students may have the opportunity to spot him on test days. However, Hopkins faces a different kind of test on the football field as he embarks on his first season with the Tennessee Titans, having previously made a name for himself with the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals.

After spending three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Hopkins signed a two-year, $26 million deal with the Titans, with potential additional earnings of $6 million through incentives. Even though he has been dealing with injuries lately, the Titans have demonstrated their trust in the experienced receiver.

In training camp, Hopkins has really stood out and caught the attention of Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill has been impressed with Hopkins" skills, especially his knack for making difficult catches. Hopkins shared his excitement about joining the Titans, mentioning his past experiences with head coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Tim Kelly as important factors that influenced his decision.

"He’s been a big addition," Tannehill expressed, via NFL.com. "We’ve seen some huge plays from him. Vintage Hopkins that you’ve seen across his career of tight, contested catches when he’s able to elevate or make the extended catch. So, as a quarterback, it’s been a lot of fun to find those areas where I can put the ball where only he can get it and then he’s making the play.

"I am very happy, very glad," Hopkins said. "This was a team that as soon as the offseason hit and I knew I was possibly going to be traded, this was a team that was on my list of places that I wanted to play because of the history [head coach] Mike Vrabel and I have, the history Tim Kelly and I have."

In his Titans debut, Hopkins showcased his skills with seven receptions for 65 yards. However, he appeared to suffer an ankle injury towards the end of the game, which could impact his availability. Nevertheless, the Titans are eager to have him back as they aim to bounce back from their Week 1 loss against the Chargers in their upcoming matchup.
