Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner when he is not on the field is better known for exploring a variety of food joints and reviewing many eccentric takeaway joints.
Recently, CB Gardner was seen visiting the social media sensation deli on 603 Clinton Street in New York City, known for “sure, sure!” and “never ever!
MLB tweeted on the X platform with a hilarious post, they wrote,
“OH NO: #Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner got a sausage, bacon, egg, and chopped cheese on a honeybun along with mozzarella sticks and barbecue sauce the Ocky way”
They also added,
“Let’s hope Sauce does not have stomach issues come Sunday.”
Gardner has also been seen previously for partnering with the Buffalo Wild Wings, it was announced as the most fitting partnership in the history of advertising.
The renowned chain listed 20 sauces made to be paired with its wing, and now Gardner has his very own sauce, the aptly named “Sauce Sauce.”
Buffalo Wild Wings said that their culinary team and Gardner “collaborated” to make a new flavor mixed with Gardner’s love for both barbecue and hot sauce.
According to a press release after the sauce was announced, they said,
“The new sauce is a smokey, sweet, and spicy BBQ sauce that intercepts your taste buds and takes it to the house on your favorite wings and sandwiches.”
After the sauce was introduced in August last year, Gardner told USA Today Sports
“My sauce, it’s a smoky, sweet and spicy barbecue,”
“I’m a huge barbecue guy, but I also like some type of spice, so I feel like it’s the perfect ideal sauce.”
