Watch: Ohio State Stun Notre Dame with Last-Second Touchdown

Ohio State’s victory over Notre Dame was nothing short of spectacular. With just one second left on the clock, the Buckeyes scored the winning touchdown, securing a 17-14 win.

The game-winning drive began with Ohio State regaining possession of the ball with only 1:26 remaining on the clock and just one timeout.

They had to make every second count, and they did just that. The drive consisted of 15 plays, covering a total of 65 yards. It was a test of their offensive prowess and their ability to convert on crucial downs.

At the start of the drive, Ohio State failed to gain any yards on their first two plays.

However, they quickly turned things around when they converted a third-and-10 play, gaining 23 yards thanks to Emeka Egbuka.

Four plays later, Kyle McCord made an impressive throw to Julian Fleming on a fourth-and-7, resulting in a 7-yard gain.

Unfortunately, McCord was called for intentional grounding on the following play, forcing Ohio State to use their last timeout with just 15 seconds remaining.

Despite the setbacks, Ohio State, On a third-and-19 play, McCord connected with Egbuka for a remarkable 21-yard gain, placing the ball just one yard away from Notre Dame’s end zone with only seven seconds left.

In the end, Ohio State triumphed as Trayanum made a decisive run on the left side of the offensive line, exploiting a gap in the Notre Dame defense.

Ohio State’s game-winning drive marked the highlight of a second half that was far more thrilling than the first. The Buckeyes led 3-0 at halftime but quickly extended their lead to 10-0 with a touchdown run by TreVeyon Henderson.

Notre Dame refused to back down and responded with 14 consecutive points.
