Did Mac Jones Get too ‘Saucy’? NFL to look into Sauce Gardner’s low blow claims

The NFL will reportedly look into claims by New York Jets CB Sauce Gardner that Patriots quarterback Mac Jones deliberately targeted his crown jewels in their week 3 encounter.

The Patriots ran out 15-10 winners in a scrappy, tense game, to pick up their first win of the new season.

Jones allegedly flicked Gardner on his private parts in a show of disrespect

“He reached out to me to get me to help him up, I just moved his hand out of the way. He got up and then came up to me like ‘Good job.’ While he was saying that he hit me in the private parts,” said Gardner of the incident.

Jones has been accused of foul play in the past, and while there is no conclusive camera evidence as yet, there may have been extra footage that the NNL May peruse.

Jones had a poor game, throwing just under 50% completion, 15-29, for 201 yards and one touchdown.

The Patriots has Ezekiel Elliot to thank for their scrappy win with the RB going for 80 yards off 16 carries.

Jets QB Zach Wilson, in for the injured Aaron Rodgers in the Jets first game, and he threw at exactly 50%, 18-36.

The offensive efforts from both teams were poor, and the story of Jones going for the ‘ball’ of Sauce is arguably the talking point of the game.

I didn’t react like I really wanted to. I definitely wasn’t expecting that. First time for everything I guess. . . . He’s trying to prevent me from having kids in the future.”
