Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner has accused Patriots quarterback Mac Jones of a questionable move during today"s game. After the Patriots secured a victory against the Jets, Gardner alleged that Jones struck him in a sensitive area following a quarterback sneak late in the game.

Gardner explained, “He and I got tackled, [and] he reached his hand up to try to like, get me to help him up, and I just like, moved his hand out of the way." Gardner recounted the incident, stating that while Jones was extending a “Good job" greeting, he unexpectedly struck him in a private area. Gardner noted his surprise, saying, “I definitely wasn’t expecting that. First time for everything, I guess."

After the Patriots narrowly won 15-10 at MetLife Stadium, Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner expressed his strong displeasure with Patriots quarterback Mac Jones. Gardner"s accusation became clear after a QB sneak play during the Pats-Jets matchup. Jones attempted to convert a third-and-1 at the New York 45 with a sneak up the middle but was met with resistance from the Jets" defense.

Jones persisted even after the whistle, prompting Jets defenders, including Gardner, to engage. A heated exchange followed, and Jones ended up being tackled by C.J. Mosley. The game proceeded from there.

Gardner mentioned that he required ice treatment after the game and humorously quipped, “He"s trying to prevent me from having kids in the future."

When asked about Gardner"s allegations, Jones denied any wrongdoing on the play, saying, “Um, no… Just trying to get the first down. … Definitely a physical play. A lot of guys are in there. It"s kind of like the famous quarterback sneak that everybody does, and all the guys from both teams are in there, so it can get pretty physical."

Jones has been involved in controversial plays before, so this incident is not the first time.
