Taylor Swift is setting the NFL tongues wagging with her potential relationship with star tight end Travis Kelce of the Chiefs.
She was at the Arrowhead Stadium to watch the defending Superbowl champions demolish the Bears 41-10 in a one-sided and utterly dominant week 3 match-up.
Fox Sports announcers Erin Andrews and Greg Olsen were almost star-struck as the cameras panned to the VIP box, with Swift sitting with Kelce"s mother and giving it horns.
"Well, it looks like Taylor Swift picked a good day to come here to Arrowhead…Man, they get Taylor Swift here. Their offense is in a rhythm. Kelce’s catching balls. Who’s living better?" asked Fox"s Greg Olsen.
Fellow Fox announcer Kevin Burkhardt was also in fine fettle, with Swift-mania hitting fans and pundits alike.
When Kelce ran in his second reception TD of the season the camera was on Swift as she was seen to mouth off, “Let"s [f****ng] go."
"Quite the day, right?" asked Burkhardt. "Unbelievable. Quite the day for the Chiefs too, 41-0. By the way, I thought Taylor said she was an Eagles fan last year. Wasn’t that an Eagles shirt in one of the songs? I guess not anymore?"
"Allegiances change fast," Olsen said. "I think my favorite part of that shot, Taylor Swift is chest bumping for Travis Kelce’s touchdown and Mama Kelce’s just standing next to her, and she’s like, ‘Honey, I’ve seen 71 of these.’ She gave like a light tap on the glass and she wasn’t overly excited about it.," said an excited Burkhardt.
Talking of football, the Chiefs head off to New York for a match-up against the ‘Rodgers ‘less" Jets, who are in a freefall, and could swiftly be suffering their third successive loss, while the Kansas team will be out to pick up a third straight win.
Whether Swift will be there is up for debate?
Oh, and the Bears are 0-3 and in last place in the NFC North, with a game against the Broncos at home in week 4.
