The NFL’s fastest record speed has been recorded by none other than the incredible players of the Miami Dolphins. Among these cheetah-like players are Tyreek Hill, Devon Archane, and Raheem Mostert.
The NFL's player tracking data shows that Tyreek Hill reached the fastest speed of any ball carrier so far this season yesterday, and the top six fastest plays this year are three by Hill, two by Devon Archane and one by Raheem Mostert. https://t.co/60vWd8ncsA

According to NBC Sports Pro Football Talk, for the league’s Next Gen Stats, the NFL uses tracking equipment to measure players’ running speeds while carrying the ball.
This technology reveals the speed difference between the Dolphins and the rest of the teams in the entire NFL.
Tyreek Hill, the wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, set an NFL record for peak speed on a 15-yard catch against the Broncos on Sunday, reaching a top speed of 22.07 mph. This was the same game where the Dolphins also set a record after defeating the Denver Broncos 70-20.
On a 67-yard touchdown run in the same game, Dolphins running back Devon Archane reached a speed of 21.93 mph, which was the second-fastest run by a player carrying the ball.
The Dolphins actually own all six of the top ball carriers’ top speeds so far this year.
This season, Packers running back Aaron Jones in Week One was the fastest play by a player other than a Dolphin. Jones hasn’t played since sustaining a hamstring injury during the play.
The Dolphins’ roster was constructed with speed in mind, and their offensive scheme encourages quick players to receive the ball in tight spaces. Yesterday’s offensive display was one of the best in NFL history as a result of that.
