The former NBA champion Richard Jefferson predicts Stephen Curry has only three or four more years as an NBA player before fans see his fallback.
Jefferson said on the Road Trippin" podcast,
"I don"t know if it"s this year, I think he"s got 3 to 4 more years as a primary player because of his skill."
During an episode of the podcast, Jefferson, the former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate of LeBron, commented on Curry’s chances of winning a fifth Championship ring.
On the ‘Truth or Trash’ segment of the podcast, Jefferson was asked by co-host Allie Clifton whether he sees Curry winning his fifth ring anytime soon.
The former NBA forward confidently deemed Curry’s chances of winning a fifth ring as ‘truth’, he replied to the question with ease and he predicted,
"I say Truth. I don’t know if it’s this year. I think he’s [Stephen Curry] got three to four years as a primary player, as No. 1, because of his skill. Because you see players drop off in the regular season, not the postseason,"
Curry responded to Jefferson’s remarks in his recent talk with Ahmad Rashad on NBA Rewind.
He confidently talked about his extension and his plan to win a few more chips before he finally called it a day.
During a conversation, with the former player Gilbert Arenas. Curry seems to not like putting a number on his retirement age, he said,
"I have three years left on my deal, including this year, and then kind of figure it out from there, I don’t put too much of a timeline outside of my contract now just knowing that will give me 38 and 17 years in the league."
