“There’s not a game I played in that I wasn’t high for” – Percy Harvin reveals that he played every game of his highlight reel career while inebriated

Former Florida Gator and Super Bowl champion wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, Percy Harvin, made a surprising admission earlier this week, revealing that he was never sober while playing in NFL games.

In an interview with Bleacher Report, the 35-year-old Harvin candidly confessed that he would smoke marijuana before every single game. He noted, “There’s not a game I played in that I wasn’t high for,” emphasizing this point twice. Harvin seemed determined to convey the message that he was under the influence of marijuana while running routes on the field.

Despite this revelation, it’s evident that whatever Harvin was doing worked for him, as his former coach, Urban Meyer, recently hailed him as the best player he’s ever coached.

“That’s what I want the world to kind of see today. It’s not a stigma, and people doing it and getting in a whole bunch of trouble. It’s people that’s just living regular life that’s got deficiencies or just may want to enjoy themselves.”

He believes that many people, including those with deficiencies or those seeking relaxation, use marijuana as a part of their regular lives.

While Harvin did not specify whether this practice extended to his college playing days or was limited to his professional NFL career, his assertion that he didn’t play a single game without being high suggests that he may have been under the influence during his collegiate career with the Florida Gators from 2006 to 2008.

It’s worth noting that former NFL running backs Ricky Williams and Le’Veon Bell have also openly admitted to using marijuana before NFL games.
