Last year, there were a whopping 231 games that went beyond that time. it’s clear that the pitch clock is having a good impact. The pitch clock wasn’t the only new rule. They also limited how often a pitcher can step off the mound during a plate appearance. This change has made the matches faster and more exciting. Base stealing has gone up, and now there are 15 players with 30 or more stolen bases this season, compared to just six last year.
