The Ryder Cup 2023 is generating immense excitement as the pinnacle event in men’s golf approaches, with players arriving in Rome for this prestigious occasion.

This year’s Ryder Cup promises an extra dose of excitement as Team Europe and Team USA gear up to compete for the ultimate prize in golf.

In the 2021 edition, Team USA claimed victory in dominant fashion, defeating their European counterparts by a staggering 19-9 margin. This victory marked the widest margin since the modern format was introduced in 1979.

Captains Luke Donald and Zach Johnson have meticulously selected their teams, and a sense of tension looms in the air due to the turbulent period golf has experienced since the last event.

When is the Ryder Cup 2023?

The Ryder Cup 2023 is scheduled to commence on Friday, September 29th, and will run until Sunday, October 1st.

Practice days will take place in Rome from Tuesday, September 26th, to Thursday, September 28th, allowing players to familiarize themselves with the surroundings before the intense competition begins.

Where to Watch

  • Day 1 of the event, featuring two sessions of four matches each, will be broadcast on USA Network. Coverage will begin at 1:30 a.m. ET and continue until 12 p.m. ET.
  • USA Network will also provide early coverage on Saturday, starting from 1:30-3 a.m. ET, after which the broadcast will switch to NBC at 3 a.m. ET.
  • NBC will exclusively air Sunday’s final singles matches, offering over seven hours of coverage starting at 5:30 a.m. ET.
