According to the official website, the head coach of the Bills, Sean McDermott regarding the next preparation of the Buffalo Bills against the Dolphins said, “It gets shorter and shorter or smaller and smaller, that window, right? And in particular, when you got a team that put up 70 points, I don’t think I’ve seen that in my NFL career the entire time. So they’re very explosive,”
McDermott noted Buffalo’s advanced aggression and the defensive pursuit of quarterback Sam Howell were two noteworthy aspects of the game, which resulted in a 34-point victory over the Commanders.
Since the 1985 Dallas Cowboys, no team has recorded four interceptions and nine sacks in a single game until the Buffalo Bills.
Regarding the defensive success, McDermott said, “It’s the preparation players put themselves through,”
“The coaches have done a phenomenal job of getting them prepared during the week and I think that’s really the combination of those two coming together.”
Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert, and De’Von Achane make up the Dolphins’ speed group, which is unlike anything else a team can field on grass.
Not only this, but Mike McDaniel’s astute planning, and Tua Tagovailoa’s quick release and precision is giving the Miami Dolphins all the right plays in order to advance in this NFL season.
For the defense of the Miami Dolphins, McDermott said, “It seems like they added to it this offseason, right?,”
“So, very good skill. Tua is throwing the ball extremely well. And their schematics are almost revolutionary in what they do. Coach (Mike) McDaniel is very creative and does a lot of things to get you out of position on defense.”
The Bills and the team have put all their concentration on how they can stop the Dolphins and make them slow down. Regarding this matter, McDermott expressed, “We’ll start with the fundamentals. We need to get better with some of our fundamentals. I think that’s got to be a point of emphasis,”.
