Watch: NFL Analyst Mina Kimes receives a heartwarming send-off from her NFL Live colleagues before her maternity leave

Mina Kimes, ESPN’s senior writer and an analyst on NFL Live, recently received a heartwarming message from her NFL Live colleagues.

Through their well wishes, her co-workers have shown how much they admire their colleague and will miss her while she is away on maternity leave.

Kimes starts her maternity leave on Tuesday.

According to Awful Announcing, Laura Rutledge, standing next to Dan Orlovsky, expressed, “Our dear friend Mina Kimes, her last show before maternity leave is tomorrow,”

“Mina, we are gonna miss you like crazy. We wanted to just send you some thoughts, maybe a little bit of advice too before you become a mom.”

Kimes can be heard saying, “Oh no,” while a video of her coworkers congratulating her and expressing their joy over her child aired.

Kimes was very appreciative of all the love her colleagues showed. The team has maintained their closeness and their regular companionship on the show. So, their heartfelt wishes for Kimes don’t come as a surprise to anyone.

According to The Spun, Laura Rutledge also said, “I really can’t wait to tell this little guy how awesome his mom is … He’s so lucky to have you as his mom,”

Field Yates expressed, “While his son doesn’t know it yet, he hit the parent lottery,”

Ryan Clark also came in and said, “We will not try to replace you because we can’t,”

“We’ll miss the fact that you make everything that you’re a part of better, but we all get to be uncles and aunts to one of the greatest little babies in the world with one of the best mothers in the world.”

After the tribute was over, one could see a tearful Kimes. After authoring player profiles for ESPN The Magazine and hosting ESPN Daily, Kime joined NFL Live in 2020. In July, she made her pregnancy public at the ESPYs.
