The Dallas Cowboys had a loss to the Arizona Cardinals, and it caught many fans by surprise. The Cardinals, who were not expected to win by such a large margin, ended up winning eventually. While we give credit to the Cardinals for their well-deserved victory, the focus is mostly on the Cowboys and their errors in this game.
The Cowboys were considered strong contenders for the Super Bowl, but in this game, they lost in every aspect to a team that hadn’t won any games in this season. It’s a huge setback for the Cowboys on their way to the playoffs.
Here’s how most of the fans reacted to the setback of the Cowboys:

Things got bad for the Cowboys as star cornerback Trevon Diggs got injured in practice before the game by a torn ACL. His absence seemed to affect the team’s defense, as the Cardinals made a lot of big plays and gained 400 yards, scoring 28 points while him being present. The Cowboys also hurt themselves with a whopping 13 penalties for 107 yards and various missed opportunities in the red zone.
However, it’s not all doom for the Cowboys. Their running back, Tony Pollard, had a great game with 122 rushing yards and an average of 5.3 yards per carry. He also caught three passes. Pollard basically saved the Cowboys in this running game, which is a positive sign. Rico Dowdle, who acted as a backup running back, showed his skills by gaining 21 yards while running, catching passes for 25 yards, and scoring a touchdown.
Although the defeat against the Cardinals was disheartening for fans, there were some positive aspects for the Cowboys, particularly in their running game. To bounce back and have a successful remainder of the season, they’ll need to come together as a team and address their mistakes.
