On June 29, Haskins found himself facing serious allegations after a series of violent arguments involving his girlfriend, Makiah Green. The charges against Haskins were severe, including aggravated assault by strangulation.
However, Green also faces her own charges stemming from the incidents, such as aggravated assault by strangulation, vandalism over $2,500, and assault with a deadly weapon.
Before this unfortunate incident, Haskins had entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in 2022. Despite being a rookie, he made a notable impact by playing in 15 games and contributing with 36 touches for a total of 150 yards.
Shortly after Haskins’ arrest, the Tennessee Titans organization decided to place him on injured reserve, effectively ending his 2023 season prematurely. A day later, the NFL placed Haskins on the Commissioner Exempt List, further restricting his involvement in football-related activities.
Fortunately for Haskins, the recent dismissal of the aggravated assault charge came as a relief. While he still faces the challenge of rehabilitating from an undisclosed injury.
