For nearly two decades, Rich Eisen has been a familiar face during the NFL Combine, known for his annual 40-yard dash.

Initially done as a comedic element for television, Eisen’s run has evolved into a philanthropic endeavor called ‘Run Rich Run.’

By raising awareness and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

While Eisen’s 40-yard dash time may be far from the records set by professional athletes, his dedication deserves recognition.

In 2016, he achieved his personal best time of 5.94 seconds.

When discussing speed in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins are at the forefront.

According to NFL’s Next Gen Stats, the team boasts the top five fastest ball carriers of the 2023 season, including Raheem Mostert, Tyreek Hill, and Devon Achane.

Mostert, who joined the Dolphins after following coach Mike McDaniel from San Francisco, recently appeared on The Rich Eisen Show.

During the interview, Mostert expressed confidence in his 40-yard dash abilities, stating that he could beat Hill in a race.

In addition to praising his own speed, Mostert also paid a heartfelt compliment to Eisen. As he signed off from the show, Mostert commended Eisen’s running form;

“Your speed, your form, is just lights out,” Mostert told Eisen. “I love it when you do the 40-yard dash. I look forward to those moments.”

Eisen, taken aback by the compliment, asked Mostert to repeat himself, just so he could hear it again.

“You got some form, Rich. You got some good form. We can tweak it a little bit, to make you a little bit faster. We can tweak it a little bit. But, all in all, it’s good.”
