Ahead of the Week 4 game, the Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay Jr. thinks the Jets is a team that figures to run the ball plenty.
In Week 4 of the league, the defending Super Bowl champions will face the Aaron Rodgers-less New York Jets on Sunday night.
This is brutal: #Chiefs LB Willie Gay was asked what he’s seen from Zach Wilson and the #Jets offense..
He laughs for a second, and then gives his answer: "A team that wants to run the ball."

On Wednesday, talking to the reporters. Gay said he sees the Jets as a team that runs the ball alot when asked about the offense led by Zach Wilson.
Speaking to Aaron Ladd of KSHB41, Gay said,
"A team that wants to run the ball, That wasn’t being funny or anything. A-Rod [Aaron Rodgers] got hurt, and it turned into a team in panic mode."
He added,
"They got great running backs, so now they’re just trying to pound it, ground and pound, I feel like the running backs have been rolling, so I feel like that’s their game plan."
In the aftermath of Aaron Rodgers"s season-ending Achilles injury, the Jets have struggled to bring the offense to their previous form with Zach Wilson at its helm.
However, it seems despite the underperformed offense, the Jets will be playing with Wilson for at least one more game, if not longer.
As projected, Gay believed the Jets would try to keep the ball on the ground in Week 4 and avoid forcing Wilson to make big plays. The Jets have already lost two in a row since Wilson took over as starter.
The Jets might be expected to run the football with running backs Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook, but would that probably upset the heavily favored Chiefs?
