Maya Benberry, the ex-GF of Travis Kelce, has raised eyebrows in the middle of the Kansas City Chiefs star’s budding relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
In an interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday, September 26, Benberry seemed to cast a shadow on Swift’s involvement with Kelce by implying that the NFL star has a history of infidelity.
While extending her well wishes to Taylor Swift, Benberry didn’t shy away from dropping a subtle hint of caution:
“Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!”
She continued to allude to Kelce’s character, stating:
“I can only hope that she comes out the teacher in this situation and not the student. The man that I knew him to be when we dated. Only time will tell but as the saying always goes, once a cheater, always a cheater.”
Following the publication of this interview, NFL fans expressed their disappointment with Benberry’s remarks.

Maya Benberry met Travis Kelce when she appeared as a contestant on his 2016 E! dating show, “Catching Kelce,” where the Chiefs TE ultimately chose Maya as the winner. However, their romance was short-lived.
