Jrue Holiday trade update: Lakers, Clippers, Celtics among other teams to be reportedly interested in the Point Guard

The prospect of players following the seven-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard trade is still ongoing. One such player who has been garnering attention from teams is Jrue Holiday.

The former Milwaukee Bucks point guard is likely to choose a team other than the Portland Trail Blazers to continue his NBA career.

Many respectable and notable teams, such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, and Boston Celtics, have expressed interest in Holiday.

As the 2023–24 NBA season approaches, the majority of the clubs that are mentioned above are considered to be title contenders.

According to ESPN, "Even the Warriors could join the race [for Jrue Holiday]. Provided they"d be willing to re-trade Chris Paul."

Most of the teams have a good chance to advance further. The Golden State Warriors have recently clinched the NBA Championship, and the Miami Heat recently participated in the Finals and has advanced two straight years to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers are the next teams, and they both made it to the conference finals the previous year. Despite the Sixers" lack of postseason success compared to these teams, Holiday would be a fantastic addition.

If Holiday goes to Heat along with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, the squad would become highly capable. Two-time All-Star Holiday is capable of performing almost all other tasks that need to be done on the court.
