Isaiah Thomas tweeted that if the Milwaukee Bucks need a backup after Damian Lillard was traded, who will team up with Giannis Antetokounmpo?
Need a backup?? https://t.co/Tm5KrVNNMt

The post is seemingly an offer of his services to the Bucks after his last appearance on an NBA court a year and a half ago.
On Wednesday, the Bucks dealt Damian Lillard in exchange for Jrue Holiday, and it is expected to bring a new dynamic to the team with the new roster.
The Former Boston Celtics fan-favorite floor general Thomas pitched the Wisconsin-based franchise to use him as a backup to their superstar acquisition, Damian Lillard.
The all-star Thomas shared a tweet thread of Hoop Central’s post that posted the updated 10-man roster in the immediate aftermath of the three-team deal.
In his brilliant 2016-17 season, he included himself in the MVP conversational list and also led the Celtics to a Conference Finals appearance.
Now 34 years of age, Thomas is unlikely to offer a huge amount of value to any NBA team, but seemingly that hasn’t stopped him from trying.
With no obvious point guard behind Damian Lillard for the Bucks, if they did go searching for a backup point guard, Isaiah Thomas is expected to be a little way down the list.
Thomas signing with the Bucks would be a true gut-punch to the Boston Celtics fanbase, the possibility of a return to Beantown for the 2016-17 MVP candidate.
Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the force to facilitate for the Bucks offense, there is certainly a need behind the former in the backcourt.
