Ole Miss Defeats LSU in Southern Conference Title Clash, combine for the most points in a game in the rival’s history

The fight for the Southern Conference title saw the Ole Miss Rebels clash with the LSU Tigers on Saturday.

As the game turned, the Rebels became the winners by defeating the LSU Tigers with a score of 55-49.

Jaxson Dart, the Rebels’ quarterback, threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns. He also gave a 13-yard throw to Tre Harris, and then Harris scored a touchdown in the last seconds of the game.

Quinshon Judkins, the running back for the Ole Miss Rebels, kept up his pursuit for victories and huge plays with a 177-yard performance on the day. He concluded with a touchdown and did so on 33 carries.

Tre Harris was Coach Kiffin’s team’s top receiver for the Rebels, racking up 153 yards, a touchdown, and eight receptions. This was a much-needed victory for Ole Miss following a dismal performance in Tuscaloosa a week prior.

This is the second game that LSU has lost. However, next Saturday will see the LSU Tigers play the Missouri Tigers in Columbia, while the Ole Miss Rebels will host the Arkansas Razorbacks.
