In Sunday’s game, Las Vegas Raiders Defensive Tackle Jerry Tillery was ejected for hitting Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert late and out of bounds.
As reported, the Raiders will be without their defensive tackle Tillery for the remainder of Week 4 after being ejected after a late hit.
It occurred with 9:01 left in the second quarter, Tillery lowered his shoulder and hit Herbert, who had stepped out of bounds.
As Tillery was assessed for the foul play, it did not take long for the official to rule Tillery had been disqualified from the game.
He will also be expecting a notice from the NFL next week about a possible sizable fine.

CBS analyst Trent Green, also seen commenting and was surprised that it led to his ejection audibly, can make out Green saying,
“Holy smokes.”
Also surprised by the call, Kevin Harlan quickly turned his attention to CBS’ NFL rules analyst, Gene Steratore.
NFL rules analyst Gene Steratore commented and also provided an explanation to why this was the right call.
He said,
“This is a great job in New York, in situations, like when Justin is pulling up Tillery knows, and he is out of bounds. A hit this egregious in that situation New York will weigh in, they will have their conversation, view it, and review it. And I think they made a proper decision to disqualify Tillery for his action.”
As of now, it has to wait and see if the league responds to something, whether it’s an ejection or a fine coming Tillery’s way.
