The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, has etched his name in the history books by becoming the fastest player to reach 200 touchdown passes.
Mahomes completed his 200th career touchdown throw in his 84th game and surpassed Dan Marino’s NFL record.
Marino, the Miami Dolphins Hall of Fame quarterback, achieved this feat in 89 games.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, “Patrick Mahomes threw his 200th career Pass TD in his 84th career game. That is the fewest games to 200 Pass TD in NFL history, passing Dan Marino (89).”
Previous records have been set by Aaron Rodgers, Payton Manning, and Brett Favre. Mahomes set the record as he threw to Noah Gray on a 34-yard touchdown.
In the first quarter, Mahomes’ touchdown pass gave the Kansas City Chiefs the lead with 17-0 points over the New York Jets.
The talented quarterback, Mahomes, has reached several milestones in his career, and his trajectory is going to new heights. Mahomes commenced his booming career when, in 2018, he threw for 50 touchdowns and 5,097 yards.
Following that, Mahomes, in his 40th career game, became the quarterback to reach the 100th touchdown mark the quickest.
Mahomes has been with the Kansas City Chiefs for seven seasons, and according to the Chiefs, he is the youngest to win both a Super Bowl title and a league MVP. He also has two MVP accolades under him as well.
