While fans were eagerly awaiting the showdown Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ presence in the Big Apple was causing quite the commotion.
The TikTok sensation took to Instagram to offer glimpses of his time in the city, and it didn’t sit well with NFL aficionados.

Jackson Mahomes had been flying somewhat under the radar in recent months.
Apparently, a dark cloud of controversy loomed over him, with accusations of aggravated sexual battery at a Kansas restaurant in February 2023.
As a result, in May 2023, Jackson Mahomes found himself behind bars, booked at the Johnson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
The charges were grave, and the accusations even graver.
He stood accused of forcibly kissing the female owner of an Overland Park restaurant, Aspen Vaughn, and shoving a waiter during the same incident.
Vaughn, recounting the harrowing ordeal, shared her side of the story with the Kansas City Star:
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere and I’m telling him, pushing him off, saying, ‘What are you doing?’ And then he proceeded to do it two more times, where the last time I was pushing him off, and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door, and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
In April 2023, Jackson Mahomes’ sister-in-law, Brittany Mahomes, stepped into the fray during an Instagram Q&A in April.
When asked about the comments regarding her brother-in-law, she came to his defense with a fiery response:
“They are ignorant. He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way, and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will), you have no right to say s–t about him. So it’s best to just shut up.”
