The performance of Jets quarterback Zach Wilson has been under scrutiny of late, but the youngster put that behind him to deliver top notch performance against the Chiefs on Monday night.
Wilson starred as the Jets almost defeated the star-filled defending Superbowl champions, going down 23-20.
Wilson had a great evening despite a fumble in the fourth quarter allowed the Kansas City team the chance to close out the game.
The jets were on the receiving end of a trio of bad calls on defense, and it could have been a shock win for the New York team at the MetLife Stadium.
Wilson’s performance had broadcaster Chris Collinsworth purring like a cat who found some catnip.
