The Sunday night match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets grabbed the attention of millions of fans; they were not just football fans either.

According to NBC Sports, the game had the highest Sunday audience since Super Bowl LVII.

Ari Meirov also took to platform X, mentioning, “NBC announced that Sunday night’s #Chiefs-#Jets game averaged 27 million viewers, making it the most-watched show since the Super Bowl. Another huge night for the NFL.”

An average of 27 million people watched the broadcast of the game on NBC and Peacock.

NBC Sports had its highest-ever streaming audience for a Sunday NFL regular-season game.

Approximately 29.4 million people tuned in at its highest point between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. It was when the Jets closed the gap to eight points in the second quarter.

Due to their recent accomplishments and the NFL’s star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs are frequently a top attraction for fans of the league.

The other was their regular-season game versus the Detroit Lions, which attracted an average of 27.5 million viewers.

The two NFL games this season with the most viewers have both involved the Kansas City Chiefs. The fans highly anticipate the games of the Chiefs, as they have been performing wonderfully throughout the season.

The public appearance of Taylor Swift also contributed to the rise in views. More than two million more female viewers increased the number of viewers.
