In a candid interview on the latest episode of Season 3 of Let’s Go!, NFL legend Tom Brady has finally broken his silence on the relentless cyberbullying that has forced him to remain tight-lipped about his personal life.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion opened up about the prevailing mentality on the internet, where faceless individuals freely criticize and attack others, making it increasingly difficult for public figures like himself to be candid about their experiences and emotions.

He emphasized the toll this has taken on his ability to openly address various aspects of his life, stating:

“It’s hard to own up to things these days because of this, this mentality on the internet and these nameless, faceless people that pile on, and so nobody wants to admit anything anymore.”

For someone of Brady’s stature, who constantly finds himself in the public eye, the pressure to always say the right thing and avoid controversy has become a necessary defense mechanism.

He expressed his desire to steer clear of any additional drama, stating:

“I always try to say the right thing just because I don’t want to deal with any more drama that’s already in my life. And I already have a lot of drama, just because it’s life.”

The scrutiny surrounding Tom Brady has been relentless over the past year, particularly due to his high-profile divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

The duo who got hitched in 2009, parted ways in October 2022, ending their 13-year-long marriage. Together, they share, two children-Benjamin and Vivian.

Brady’s recent frustration was voiced on Let’s Go! after the revelations made by author Michael Lewis on CBS’ 60 Minutes.

Lewis disclosed that Tom Brady was set to receive a staggering $55 million from Sam Bankman-Fried to promote the cryptocurrency exchange platform FTX.

Also, Tom Brady has been linked heavily with supermodel Irina Shayk in the recent months.

In February 2023, Tom Brady officially retired from the NFL amassing a jaw-dropping $550 million throughout his career.

Throughout his NFL tenure, he played with the New England Patriots (2000–2019) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020–2022).
