LA Lakers star Anthony Davis has thrown the first pebble as the start of the NBA season draws closer, with the Denver Nuggets in his sights.
The Nuggets defeated the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, getting crushed in four games, and it seems Davis and the LA team are out for some sweet soul revenge.
There was trash talk aplenty before that series earlier this year, and Davis and LeBron James feel strongly that they will be out for victory against Denver.
"It was just a lot of talking. We get it, y’all won, but me and Bron [LeBron James] had some conversations… we can’t wait [to play them]."
The Lakers and the Nuggets games will be intense this season, and the pair could even duke it out at the Western Conference Finals again, but this time Davis feels the Lakers will do their talking on the court.
Davis is a NBA champion in 2020, a four-time All-NBA First-Team and an eight-time NBA All-Star.
The former Pelicans player was signed as the overall No. 1 pick in 2009 and will be desperate to add another NBA title this season.
