Judon has been a standout player for the Patriots since joining the team three seasons ago. Leading the team with four sacks this season.
He has never missed a game due to injury in his three seasons with the Patriots. His durability and reliability have been valued assets to the team.
However Multiple reports suggest that Judon’s bicep tear will likely keep him out of action for at least a couple of months, if not the rest of the season.
Judon’s current contract has one year remaining, with a significant $15.4 million cap hit for next season.
Fortunately for the Patriots, they are not obligated to pay him any more guaranteed money, if his recovery process extends into the next season.
