According to recent reports, the former NFL star Russ Francis has lost his life in a plane crash alongside other passengers in a horrific accident.

The retired NFL All-Pro Francis was on a private plane when it crashed into a ravine near an airport in New York State, killing all on board.
Francis at the age of 70 was a veteran of the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers, his sudden demise has sent a shock wave.
The private plane was also boarded by Richard McSpadden, senior vice president of the Pilots Association’s (AOPA) Air Safety Institute; the tragic accident has killed all on board.
Lake Placid News reported that both died in the crash on board a Cessna 177RG on October 1, as it crashed into a ravine in New York State.
AOPA has confirmed that the aircraft was experiencing an emergency soon after take-off and the pilot was trying to return to the airport.
Tragically, the private plane would instead crash into a ravine near the airport in New York State, killing both the passengers Francis and McSpadden.
