According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the San Antonio Spurs have reached an agreement on a $146 million, five-year deal with their guard, Vassell.
Vassell has played great defense and averaged 11.2 points per game in his three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.
In his last season with the Spurs, Vassel suffered from a knee injury and it gott between him and his season.
However, he only appeared in 38 games and concluded his season with an average of 18.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
He has also increased his scoring average and that change can be seen throughout the seasons he has played.
